WHEN CAN I SUBMIT?
2023 Very Big Very Asian Comedy Festival submissions for Stand-Up Comedy are now open till 3/13/22.
WHO CAN SUBMIT?
You are welcome to submit if you self-identify as Asian, Asian American or of AAPI descent.
IS THERE A COST FOR SUBMISSION?
Submission is $20 plus fees!
Performers will be responsible for their own housing and transportation.
CAN WE APPLY AS A GROUP?
Yes, you may! If you are a Stand-Up Comedy duo or even trio, apply away!
WHAT IS THE AGE REQUIREMENT?
16 & over to apply.
The venue requires audience members be 16 & over or 13+ with guardians to watch the show.
WILL INDUSTRY BE INVITED TO THE FESTIVAL?
Yes. Very Big Very Asian Comedy is dedicated to providing a strong industry presence.
WHAT IF I AM ACCEPTED?
Very Big Very Asian Comedy Festival performers will receive a spot to showcase their comedy on one of the multi-fest nights! Performers invited to take part in the roast battle, will perform on another show. All comedians will be invited to partake in another show, tba to comics accepted.

There will be opportunity to get to know comics at a kickoff party networking event, partake in an industry panel, live music, an invite-only afterparty and more!
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
Patrons and performers can be assured the festival will provide the safest environment possible. Our venue meet all provincial guidelines.
